The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea.
The RNLI provides a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service around the coasts of the UK and RoI, as well as a seasonal lifeguard service on many of the busiest beaches in England and Wales.
The RNLI also works to promote sea and beach safety.
We rely solely on the generous donations of the public.
Currently there are 4,500 volunteer crew members all funded by your generous donations.
The RNLI's running costs average around £398,000 a day and for every £1 raised, 84p is spent on operations and 16p is spent on generating income.
Every lifeboat launch costs the RNLI money in fuel and service payments. Individual crew members also lose time and working hours when they are called out therefore we need your help and support.
If you would prefer to send a donation in the form of a cheque, be it a personal or Company/organisation one then please make sure it is made payable to the
"R.N.L.I." and post it with a covering letter to the address below.
Please also ensure that the letter contains an address so that our Hon.Treasurer can send a personal reply as well as enclosing an official receipt.
The address for the donation is as follows:-
